Plant 1 in Kirchdorf – Our „Headquarter“
The Kirchdorf an der Krems location is also the headquarters of the TCG UNITECH group. In addition to the industry-specific core competencies our entire activities in the area of management and centralised services are concentrated here.
Our core competencies:
- Production of die cast components with aluminum alloys (AL 226, AL 230, AL 231, AL 239, AlSi10MnMg) and magnesium alloys (AZ91, AM50, AM60)
- Component development for die casting with regard to weight reduction and manufacturability incl. casting simulation
- Design of die casting molds, deburring cuts, machining equipment and spray tools
- Technology center for “Friction-Stir-Welding” (FSW) and Dry-Ice-Deburring
- Mold / tool making
- deburring (blasting, vibratory grinding), in particular also with dry ice and high-pressure processes
- mechanical processing incl. own design of cutting tools for efficient mechanical processing
- implementation of scalable automation solutions
- quality assurance by X-ray, CT, residual dirt (Tecsa) as well as Zeiss CMM and leak testing equipment
