Engineering and Simulation

Full-scale computer-aided engineering

Computer-aided engineering (CAE) refers to all variants of computer-aided work processes in development. Our engineering experts work with state-of-the-art systems in strict compliance with customer specifications on digital component development or mold design.

The CAE applications at TCG UNITECH support a wide range of engineering disciplines. For example the following:

  • Temperature and flow analyses using numerical flow simulations for die casting and injection molding (CFD-Computational Fluid Dynamics)
  • Finite element (FE) calculations and simulations
  • Optimization of products and/or processes
  • Execution of casting simulations and injection molding simulations
  • Simulation of die casting and injection molds (cooling, service life, …)

In line with the industry, TCG UNITECH uses a wide range of CAD applications (CATIA, ProE / Creo and Siemens NX). In this way, it manages to reduce development times with SE approaches and at the same time improve the products.
